PGA One & Done

In the One & Done format, pick one (or more!) golfer for each tournament and earn points in our new Dollar Winnings Scoring based on how much they earn in the tournament. Once you use them once, you lose them!

Commissioners can customize their contests, including the tournaments you want your contest to include, how many golfers you’ll pick per tournament, and how many times you can use a single golfer throughout your contest.

To win, have the most Dollar Winnings at the end of the contest and take home the cash!

When Can I Play?

One & Done is live on Splash, ahead of the 2024 PGA Tour Season start with the Sentry Tournament of Champions on January 4th. One & Done is currently available in 41/50 states.

How Does One & Done Work?

Commissioners can customize their contest to their liking, but at its core, One & Done involves picking a golfer for a given tournament. You’ll earn your points based on your selected golfer’s dollar earnings for the tournament you picked them for.

When starting a contest, commissioners can change certain settings like whether your contest will be season-long or from a handful of tournaments, how many golfers you will pick per tournament (from 1-5), and the Golfer Use Limit which determines the number of times you can select a golfer throughout the duration of the contest (Once, Twice, or Unlimited).

Selecting Golfers

In One & Done, there are no restrictions on your selections! That means golfers aren’t broken up into tiers like our Tiers format and there isn’t a Salary Cap limit. All golfers will appear in one picksheet. The entire field will be available for each tournament, and based on your contest settings, you’ll select anywhere from 1 to 5 golfers for each tournament that is included in your contest.

Player Use Limit - NEW

We’re incorporating some Survivor elements to the One & Done format. Brand new to Splash is the Player Use Limit that will be enforced in One & Done contests, where commissioners will indicate, when setting up their contest, what the Player Use Limit is (Once, Twice, or Unlimited). If your contest has a Player Use Limit of “Once”, that means that you are only able to select each golfer one time throughout the entire contest. If you pick Scottie Scheffler in the Sentry Tournament of Champions and he has a rare off week, tough luck! You won’t be able to select Scottie for this year’s Masters, or any other tournament!

This adds an extra layer of strategy to every single contest.

Dollar Winnings Scoring - NEW

One & Done contests, unlike our Tiers contests, will have Dollar Winnings Scoring. Entrants select golfers each tournament and receive points by way of Dollar Winnings for the golfers that they selected for each tournament.

Commissioners will be able to apply a multiplier (1.25x or 1.5x) or a reverse multiplier (0.25x or 0.5x) for The PLAYERS Championship, The Masters, The US Open, The Open Championship, and The Tour Championship.

Payout Segments

Payout Segments are now supported within season long golf contests, allowing contest entrants to win multiple times throughout the duration of a single contest. Who doesn’t want more cash?

For One & Done contests that are created after we Launch payout segments, commissioners will have the option to break their contest’s schedule up into segments that will each have their own payouts OR will be able to pay out their highest performers for each tournament included.

For One & Done Contests that include less tournaments (e.g. The Majors Only) commissioners will be able to turn on “Tournament Payouts” to payout the highest scoring entries for each tournament, as well as for the overall contest.

Payout Segments will keep contest entrants engaged, even if they’ve struggled through the beginning of the contest and aren’t feeling so hot about their chances of winning the overall contest!

Splash is laser-focused on doing everything we can to make a commissioner's life easy and a member's life fun. And we've done that. We've made contests so simple and enjoyable that many of our commissioners go on to run 2x bigger contests for 10x less work. But we can't make and maintain that magic alone, and that means we can't do it for free. We take a service fee as a percentage of the collected contest entry fees and put it right back into the day-to-day stuff like payment processing fees; top-notch security; and building the best product on the market.

It’s simple and safe to deposit and withdraw on Splash. We support debit card and credit card deposits from Visa, Mastercard, and Discover. We also accept deposits via ACH, PayPal and Venmo.

After you create and verify your account, you will be able to deposit and withdraw via the My Account page. You may withdraw funds to a payment method you have used to deposit with (debit card or ACH), though we are unable to process withdrawals to credit cards.

Glad you asked! We whipped up a one-pager to make it easy for you to explain to your friends or group, which you can find here.

The bottom line is Splash makes your job as a commissioner at least 10x easier. This should let you run more contests and make the ones you currently run bigger. The improved gameplay, live scoring, and mobile app will make everyone’s experience much better. Not to mention that players can link their existing RunYourPool or OfficeFootballPool account to Splash to get signed up in less than a minute. And finally, Splash should give your players confidence that no matter how well they know the commissioner, they will get paid when they win, quickly and securely.

If you have an existing contest on RYP or OFP, just link your account during signup and you’ll be able to invite your existing member groups in just a few clicks. Between creating your contest and inviting your group, the whole process will take 90 seconds or less.

If you are moving your contest over from another website or from a spreadsheet, we make it easy for you to replicate your contest and give you an invite link to send out to your email list or text chain.
