When you create a paid contest, you have the option to opt-in and earn a percentage of every entry fee that comes in through your contest. Rewards are paid out automatically to your Splash Sports balance.
Yes, you can configure the entry fee, prize structure, entry deadlines, pick deadlines, team-use limits, double-pick rounds, entry lives, automatic picks, buybacks, contest revivals, tiebreakers, and split-prize eligibility. See the full settings list when you set up your contest.
Once your contest is live, you'll get a unique invite link you can share anywhere. Group chat, Discord, X, email, your newsletter. Players click the link, sign up (if they haven't already), and join your contest in seconds. They pay the entry fee directly through the app.
If you've enabled Automatic Picks in your contest settings, the system will assign a pick on their behalf so they stay alive. Otherwise, missing the deadline means elimination. Either way, Splash sends pick reminders before every round so players don't get caught out.
Group + Knockout is the full-tournament experience: best for anyone who wants action during the whole World Cup.
Knockout Only starts at the Round of 32, perfect for late joiners or casual groups who don't want to commit before the group stage.
For Group + Knockout contests, you'll want to launch and have entries locked in before the first match kicks off on June 11. Knockout Only contests can be launched any time before the Round of 32 begins.
