How to Play QuickPicks
QuickPicks, a brand new peer-to-peer DFS game, is live on Splash Sports! In this format, you’ll select more or less on at least two different player projections. For example, you could pick Aaron Rodgers with more than 260.5 passing yards and Terry McLaurin with less than 87.5 receiving yards. You can add up to four picks (with more possible picks coming soon) to increase your potential payout.
With QuickPicks, you’re not competing against the house like on other DFS platforms. Each entry you make will be matched up in a group with Splash Sports users with the same entry fee and amount of picks. Cheer on your players to have more or less than your selected projections and root against the competition in your contest to sweat out each entry. Plus, not all of your picks need to be correct to win cash. Since you’re competing directly against other Splash Sports players and not playing against the house, as long as you outscore your opponents you have a chance to win!
Making Picks
For each slate, open the QuickPicks tab in the Splash Sports app to view the board. At launch, we’ll have QuickPicks available for NFL games only, with more sports coming soon! When you open the board, you’ll find the players and their projections for that day. You can search for an individual player if you know who you’re picking, filter by position or stat category, or simply scroll through the board and find picks that you love.
Before making your picks, open up the player card by tapping on the player’s image to see important stats and projections that could impact your selections. You’ll be able to see all of that player’s projections available. For example, Saquon Barkley could have projections for rushing yards, receiving yards, rushing TDs, and reception TDs. Also on the player card will be their Game Log where you can see their stats from previous games, helping you to determine the best picks possible.
Once you’ve done your research and have your picks, tap more or less on your selections to lock in your entry! Remember, you need to select at least two player projections from two different teams for a valid entry.
Entry Fees and Matchmaking
After you’ve made your picks, determine your entry fee, from $5, $10, or $20. Once that’s done, we’ll match you with other players with the same amount of picks and entry fee! Soon, we'll have increased entry fee sizes and more picks available per entry.
The size of your contest after matchmaking is determined by how many picks you have in your entry. Here’s a breakdown of contest sizing and prizing for the launch of QuickPicks:
2 Pick Contests have 4 Entries, 1st Place Prize is 3x Entry Fee
3 Pick Contests have 8 Entries, 1st Place Prize is 6x Entry Fee
4 Pick Contests have 16 Entries, 1st Place Prize is 12x Entry Fee
At launch, we’re planning to have 2-4 pick contests. Soon, we’ll expand to 6 pick contests with the following scoring and sizing:
5 Pick Contests have 32 Entries, 1st Place Prize is 24x Entry Fee
6 Pick Contests have 64 Entries, 1st Place Prize is 48x Entry Fee
We’re offering the best multipliers in the DFS space with QuickPicks. Instead of playing against the house, get matched up against Splash Sports users and put your knowledge to the test.
Embrace the Sweat
QuickPicks is a true peer-to-peer sweat. Your entry isn’t competing against the house like on other DFS platforms, you’re playing against real Splash Sports users for cash. Not only do you get to root for your picks to go higher or lower, but you can look at each user’s picks in your contest to see what you need to beat!
The best part? Not all of your picks have to be correct to win cash. Since you’re playing against other users, as long as you have more correct picks than them, you can win. If multiple users tie for the top spot, the prize money will be split between them.
Rules to Consider
When making your picks, there are some rules to consider to ensure you have a valid entry. Each entry must contain picks from at least two different teams. A 2-pick entry with Patrick Mahomes more than 245.5 passing yards and Travis Kelce less than 0.5 receiving touchdowns would not be valid. Entries cannot use the same player twice, meaning that if you took Patrick Mahomes more than 245.5 passing yards and Patrick Mahomes less than 21.5 rushing yards, the entry would be invalid.
For inactive players (players in your entry who are scratched before the game due to injury or other reasons), the rest of your players in your entry must be from two different teams to be valid. In the event of a DNP, that pick will count as a half point toward your entry. If they are from the same team, your entry will be voided and automatically refunded. Players who are injured mid-game will not be marked as DNP, even if they only play a few minutes in the game.
