Tier Picks For NFL Week 4
Tier 1
- Josh Allen, BUF
- Patrick Mahomes, KC
- Jalen Hurts, PHI
- Joe Burrow, CIN
- Lamar Jackson, BAL
- Justin Fields, CHI
- Ja’Marr Chase, CIN
- Justin Jefferson, MIN
- Trevor Lawrence, JAC
- Christian McCaffrey, SF
Pick: Justin Jefferson, WR MIN - Absolutely zero reason to go away from Justin Jefferson right now. He fell one yard shy of his third straight game with 150 receiving yards in Week 3 and found the end zone for the first time this season. In Week 4 the Vikings face the Carolina Panthers struggling defense and given how bad the Vikings defense is this should be another game where Minnesota is throwing a lot.
Tier 2
- Tyreek Hill, MIA
- Stefon Diggs, BUF
- Tua Tagovailoa, MIA
- Dak Prescott, DAL
- Davante Adams, LV
- Anthony Richardson, IND
- Jared Goff, DET
- Bijan Robinson, ATL
- Russell Wilson, DEN
- Kirk Cousins, MIN
Pick: Russell Wilson, DEN - There likely won’t be many times where we look at Russell Wilson in Tier 2 and think that he's the play but this week against the Bears is one of those times. The Chicago defense is among the worst, if not , the worst in football which says something considering the Broncos defense just gave up 70 points in Week 3. With a healthy Jerry Jeudy, Courtland Sutton and rookie Marvin Mims all making plays this could be a three passing touchdown week for Wilson.
Tier 3
- Travis Kelce, KC
- AJ Brown, WAS
- Daniel Jones, SEA
- Breece Hall, NYJ
- Amon-Ra St. Brown, DET
- Sam Howell, PHI
- Jordan Love, GB
- Ceedee Lamb, DAL
- Saquon Barkley, NYG
- Matthew Stafford, LAR
Pick: Travis Kelce, KC - This is a pretty tough tier. The players are elite but some of the matchups they find themselves in aren’t the best. A toss-up between Kelce and Brown for me this week but with Taylor Swift now in his corner, how do we go against Kelce here who will be playing on primetime against a Jets team that looks to be on the verge of imploding due to their poor QB play.
Tier 4
- Bryce Young, CAR
- Tony Pollard, DAL
- CJ Stroud, HOU
- Mac Jones, NE
- Kenny Pickett, PIT
- Jimmy Garoppolo, LV
- Ryan Tannehill, TEN
- Jaylen Waddle, MIA
- Derek Carr, NO
- Desmond Ridder, ATL
Pick: Jimmy Garoppolo, LV - If you could guarantee me that Jaylen Waddle would be active this week then I may go that direction in this tier but for now we go with Jimmy Garoppolo, who is the league concussion protocol, but, is also expected to play this week. The Chargers pass defense is almost non-existent and this week they have to deal with covering the league's hottest new duo in Davante Adams and Jakobi Meyers. If this one ends up in a shootout then Jimmy G has the receivers to put up some points.
Tier 5
- Jahmyr Gibbs, DET
- Josh Jacobs, LV
- Tee Higgins, CIN
- Devonta Smith, PHI
- Derrick Henry, TEN
- Brock Purdy, SF
- Michael Pittman Jr., IND
- Zach Wilson, NYJ
- Rahmondre Stevenson, NE
- Calvin Ridley, JAC
Pick: Calvin Ridley, WR JAC - He can’t burn us three weeks in a row can he? After an explosive Week 1 where it seemed like the Jaguars were putting the league on notice it has been nothing but disappointment from the Jacksonville offense. Ridley has struggled in back-to-back weeks against the Chiefs and Texans and now draws an improved Falcons defense. That said, we love a good revenge narrative so let's see if the Jaguars can right the ship in Week 4.
Tier 6
- DJ Moore, CHI
- Garrett Wilson, NYJ
- Terry McLaurin, WAS
- Drake London, ATL
- Travis Etienne, JAC
- Chris Olave, NO
- James Conner, ARI
- Jerry Jeudy, DEN
- Nico Collins, PIT
- Brandon Aiyuk, SF
Pick: Jerry Jeudy, DEN - We went with Russell Wilson in Tier 2 so let’s close the show with his top wide receiver here in Tier 6. This feels like the breaking out game for Jeudy who missed Week 1 with an injury but has bounced back over the last two weeks with some solid performances. My bet is that he find the end zone here in Week 4 against a bad Bears defense.
