NFL Week 6 Tiers Picks
Fantasy Alarm is proud to bring you insight and advice for playing in a Splash Sports tiers contest for Week 6 of the NFL season. The rules are quite simple, each tier consists of 10 players for Week 6. You as the competitor are picking one player from each of the tiers to roster on your squad for the week. Each player accumulates fantasy points for their performance in the game. Whichever player has the most fantasy points at the end of the contest wins.
Tiers Contest Scoring:
- 4 points per passing TD
- 1 point per 25 passing yards
- 3 points for a 300+ Yard Passing Game
- -1 point per interception
- 6 points per rushing touchdown
- 1 point per 10 rushing yards
- 3 points for a 100+ Yard Rushing Game

Tier 1
Pick: Justin Fields, CHI - Back-to-back monster fantasy outputs for Fields should have him on everyone’s radar this week as he draws a home start against a very bad Minnesota Vikings defense. Fields has taken advantage of weak pass defenses over the past two weeks, throwing for eight touchdowns and averaging 300 yards passing in each game. The Bears poor defense should keep Fields and the offense in competitive games where he will be forced to throw.
Tier 2
Pick: Matthew Stafford, LAR - Cooper Kupp and Puka Nacua may be in the conversation as the best wide receiver duo in the NFL right now and Stafford has a great matchup against a Cardinals defense that just let a struggling Joe Burrow throw for over 300 yards and three touchdowns last week. I look for Stafford to do much of the same here in his Week 6 home start.
Tier 3
Pick: Tony Pollard, DAL - The Chargers defense on a whole is not very good against both the run and the pass and while they are coming off of a bye week and have had over a week to prepare for this matchup they are also drawing a Cowboys team that was just embarrassed on national television against the 49ers. I see the Cowboys offense showing up in this game and Tony Pollard putting together 100+ rushing yards and at least a touchdown.
Tier 4
Pick: Alvin Kamara, NO - The way to beat Houston is generally by running the football and running the football a lot. We saw Kamara have a lot of success against the Patriots last week and we know what he is capable of doing in the passing game as well. In this tier it's either Kamara or Etienne for me but I’m leaning Kamara this week.
Tier 5
Pick: Puka Nacua, LAR - Even with Cooper Kupp back last week Nacua still had seven catches for 71 yards and a touchdown. The 2023 fifth round pick looks like a locked in piece of this team’s passing attack and can co-exist with one of the league's best receivers in Kupp playing alongside him.
Tier 6
Pick: Christian Kirk, JAC - The Jaguars have a home matchup against the Colts this weekend and with Zay Jones once again a bit banged up the target share should be there for Kirk who has put together some solid performances lately after struggling in Week 1 of the season. I look for Lawrence and the offense to get rolling now that they are back on US soil.
