Splash Sports NCAAF Bowl Pick X Contests: A New Way to Play

The excitement of college football bowl season is upon us, and Splash Sports is introducing an innovative way for fans to engage with the games. The NCAAF Pick X Contest offers a unique twist on the traditional bowl pick'em format, allowing commissioners to create customized contests that cater to their preferences and offer various scoring options.
Customization and Flexibility
One of the standout features of the NCAAF Bowl Pick X Contest is the flexibility it offers to commissioners. Bowl Pick X contests are available now for commissioners to create their contests ahead of the first college bowl games scheduled for Thursday, Dec. 16.
They have the power to choose which "groups" of games to include in their contest, select specific games within those groups, and even tailor the scoring system to their liking.
Group Selection
When commissioners create an NCAAF Bowl Pick X Contest, they must select the groups of games they'd like to include. It's worth noting that these groupings will be the same for all commissioners creating contests.
However, within each group, commissioners have the freedom to choose the games they want to include in their specific contest - from the Bahamas Bowl to the Orange Bowl and everything in between!
Points System
One of the key elements of customization in this contest is the ability to set the point values for each game in the selected groups.
Commissioners can opt for standard scoring where all games are worth 1 point each. Alternatively, they can employ weighted scoring, giving games in later groups higher point values. The freedom to adjust the point values allows for a strategic twist in the contest.

Best Pick Option
Another intriguing feature commissioners can utilize is the "Best Pick" option.
For certain groups, entrants are asked to designate their best pick. Correctly selecting the best pick in a group is worth additional points, creating additional strategy and excitement.
Game Selection and Locking
To ensure a dynamic experience, commissioners must include a minimum of 16 games in their NCAAF Bowl Pick X Contest. Participants, on the other hand, will not have the opportunity to join the contest once it has started, as the entry deadline coincides with the contest's commencement.
Furthermore, commissioners can choose how they want to handle game locking. They can either lock all picks for a group when that group's games begin or have picks lock for each individual game as it starts, granting participants more flexibility throughout the contest.
No Survivor Format This Year
While the NCAAF Bowl Pick X Contest offers a plethora of customization options, it's essential to note that there won't be a survivor format available for college bowl games this year. The focus is on the unique features provided within the Pick X format.
The NCAAF Bowl Pick X Contest from Splash Sports brings a refreshing twist to college football bowl season pick'em contests. Commissioners have the freedom to customize their contests by selecting game groups, adjusting point values, and implementing a "Best Pick" option. With a minimum of 16 games required and various game locking options, participants can look forward to an engaging and strategic experience.
As college bowl season kicks off, NCAAF Bowl Pick X is set to become a fan-favorite, offering a new dimension to the excitement and enjoyment of college football's grand finale. Don't miss out on the action – create or join an NCAAF Bowl Pick X contest and test your college football knowledge and strategy!
