What the Pick Data Says About Week 11
The playoff picture is starting to shape up as we head into Week 11 of the NFL season. The surprise Cardinals and Commanders are looking to steal spots in the NFC playoff picture, the Steelers sit atop the AFC North as they head into their divisional matchups, and the Jets are cursed. What else is new? There are plenty of picks to be made across QuickPicks entries, Survivor and Pick’Em contests, and Tiers lineups, so let's dive into where the Splash public is picking ahead of Week 11.
QuickPicks Trends
Another great Thursday Night Football matchup awaits us with the Commanders facing off against division-rival Philly, with the winner claiming the NFC East lead for the next week. With divisional matchups always being hard-fought, it’s no surprise Splash users could be looking at some projections that could go less in their QuickPicks entries. One projection to keep an eye on is Jalen Hurts’ passing attempts. It’s set at 28.5, and he’s had fewer than 28.5 passing attempts in all five of his last games.
On the Commanders’ side of the ball, their field general Jayden Daniels has done an excellent job of protecting the football lately. He hasn’t thrown an interception in Washington’s last five matchups, making his INT projection of 0.5 something to consider. Some Splash pickers will say he’s due, others will ride the hot streak and hope he keeps the streak alive.

Sharp Picks
Can you really call it sharp if you’re picking against Cooper Rush? Of the top 1% of pickers across Splash, the most common pick is Houston -7.5 against the Cowboys on Monday. 94% are banking on a Texans bounceback against the flailing Cowboys. We don’t blame them for laying the touchdown+ number, the Cowboys are in complete disarray. The one positive for Dallas this week is that this game is in primetime on Monday Night Football, so they won’t have to battle the sun.
Ride the Momentum
The Lions pulled off an improbable comeback on Sunday Night Football against the Texans, overcoming five (yes, five) interceptions from Jared Goff to win an OT thriller and keep them atop the NFC standings. Things get considerably easier for them in Week 11, as Mac Jones and the Jaguars travel to Detroit to take on one of the best teams in the NFL. Splash pickers have no confidence in Jones and the Jags after their abysmal 7-point showing at home against the Vikings last week. 24% of Splash pickers are taking the Lions in their Survivor contest, which is the most by a narrow 3% next to the Dolphins. Your time will come, Mac. Maybe.
They Got Away With It
Remember last week when we said the Chiefs can’t keep getting away with their close wins? Well, we were wrong. Kansas City blocked a field goal with no time on the clock against the Broncos to seal another improbable victory and keep their undefeated season alive. They’ll face arguably their toughest test of the season this week as they head to hostile territory and take on their new rivals the Buffalo Bills. The Chiefs are underdogs this week for the first time all season, and surprisingly, Splash pickers aren’t confident that they’ll cover. Even though Patrick Mahomes is 12-1-1 ATS and 11-3 straight up as an underdog, only 34% of users are taking the Chiefs to cover this week. Bold.
