How to Play CFB Playoffs Survivor
For the first time ever, the College Football Playoff is expanding to 12 teams, and while the committee scrambles to squeeze in as many SEC teams as humanly possible, we’re just here to enjoy the chaos. The new CFB Playoffs Survivor format on Splash Sports allows you to capitalize on the chaos and see if you can survive all the way through to win cash. Pick your path, don’t burn teams too early, and outlast your competition to win. Let’s dive into how to play.
Making Your Picks
In the CFB Playoffs Survivor format, you’ll make seven total picks throughout your contest. Three picks for the first round, two picks for the second round, one pick for the semifinals, and one pick for the National Championship. If you’re doing the math in your head right now, yes, you need to pick a perfect bracket to survive the entire way through the Playoff. Simple enough, right? But just like other Survivor games on Splash Sports, you don’t need to survive the whole Playoff, you only need to survive longer than the other people in your contest. The last user standing takes the cash.
Rules
The full list of rules in a contest will be posted on the contest details page, but let’s go over some high-level rules to keep in mind for CFB Playoffs Survivor contests.
Watch the pick deadline! Losses, ties, and missed picks will result in elimination from the contest.
Unlike NFL Survivor with revival options, if all remaining entrants are eliminated or run out of teams to pick in the same slate, they will all be declared winners and split the prize. No tiebreakers.
Any user who runs out of teams to use or cannot pick a winning team will be eliminated from the contest.
And, as always, you can only use a team once. Choose your path wisely.
